Byron Bay Art Studio
Byron Bay is all about experiencing the natural scenic beauty. As an Australian visual artist, born into a family of artists, I feel the need to express myself through painting and drawing, photography and art installations.
Byron Bay is inspiring with its natural beauty. It is a place full of funky and artistic people. (See Links to my Friends)
I was encouraged from an early age by my family in The Netherlands to express my feelings. My mother wrote poetry and I danced and drew pictures all the time. My uncle is the famous Dutch sculptor, Nico Onkenhout.
I have a bachelor's degree in social studies (1990) and I have worked in the fields of local television (SAVA Amsterdam), and Textile design. I owned a fashion Label "Big Love Time" 1991-1995. See some examples in my image gallery, sculptures and textiles.
I have studied with many noticeable visual artists, and was taught how paint and create art in many workshops, all over the world.
Our current house and studio,is designed by my lovely American Partner,and we live and work here with our children. You are welcome to visit my studio, after an appointment.
